DEMEANOR – What’s Your Outward Manner?
Are Your Clients Seeing You at Your Best?
I know it’s Tax Season and I will keep this month’s ezine/newsletter brief!
Just a quick, friendly reminder of the things that will keep you healthy, happy and sane during this busy time but will also provide your best demeanor to your clients.
Are your clients finding a busy, but pleasant environment when they deal with your office OR
are they meeting with burnt out, resentful accountants?
Focus on DEMEANOR and things should go quite well this Tax Season!
D emeanor. Do the things that will benefit YOU and then ultimately your outward manner.
E ntertainment. Don’t eliminate all activities with family and friends.
M usic. To help productivity and bring calm to your soul. Choose from Pop to Classical!
E xercise. Keep fit! Maintain your daily exercise routine and/or take physically active breaks.
A musement. Keep your sense of humour. Look for ways to make yourself and others laugh.
N utrition. Keep good food choices available. Water, nuts, cheese, fruit, vegetables, popcorn.
O ptimism. April 30th will come (and go). It’s better to keep positive and ‘enjoy’ getting there.
R est. Don’t sacrifice sleep and mental rest breaks. You will burnout faster and make errors.
THAT IS SUCH A GOOD THOUGHT”,
Thoughts worth repeating, reading, thinking and embracing.
"Letting yourself reach the point where you are burnt out, worn down and used up is a threat to your dreams, goals and your life’s happiness."
Tracy Brinkmann
