STRATEGIC PRACTICE MANAGEMENT – 10 Key Issues To A Power-Full Practice

Many accountants (maybe you?) are feeling a need to transform their practices… feeling like incremental changes will no longer do…

… which means they are stuck between 'good' and 'exceptional'… but they don't know where to make the most dynamic, strategic changes.

What I do is offer a 1 year program called THE STRATEGIC C.I.R.C.L.E [Committed to Inspired Results by Coaching Leadership Excellence] focusing on 10 key strategies to help accountants reach the next level of success and become the best they can be in the process…

… which means I help them see WHAT they might need to change, HOW to create more success according to their own definition of success, DEVELOP practice management strategies, TAP into leadership qualities and be INSPIRED…

… the benefit of which is my clients change themselves and their practices. We work as a team. I champion their firm. We celebrate their success.

I help accountants build a more power-full practice and live an extraordinary, full life.

POWER YOUR PRACTICE

Empowering – Strategic – Solutions

Strategic Practice Management is an issue for EVERY firm to look at seriously, no matter what size or structure. Sole-practitioners and larger firms must address practice management issues if they are to survive and thrive. These 10 key issues are THE ISSUES that determine your financial success, your ability to impact your client’s success, your stress levels, your Work-Life Balance, your retirement strategies, etc. Each issue is critical and the order of importance may vary from firm to firm:

1] Your (written) Strategic Management Plan- The most important first step! Have you prepared a written strategic plan for the continued growth and success of your firm?

2] Your Team – Having a TEAM is different than having staff. You must become the firm that talented, dedicated professionals are longing for.

3] Time Management/Productivity-Identify your best use of time and talent for the whole firm.

4] Marketing/Your Corporate Story-Utilize your best marketing resources, and find your story.

5] Document Management/Technology- . What’s your ROI in becoming a less-papered office?

6] Leadership-It’s a full-time position. Where do you find the energy, time and resources to be an outstanding leader?

7] The Client- Do you ask your clients what business issues keep them awake at night?

8] Training/Professional Development- One of the important aspects of attracting and retaining the best talent available is setting high standards and providing the training and development to maintain those standards.

9] Process, Standards, and Policies- At the end of every day most of your intellectual assets walk out the door. Is there a program you use to ensure standards, policies, and processes throughout the firm?

10] Inspire!- New ideas and important questions grow in the fertile soil of an inspired environment. Have you eliminated ‘fear’ from your firm?
